My recent stay at Residenza Accademia was a gem in the heart of the old town. The location was absolutely fantastic, with stunning views of the square, the dome cathedral, and the castle from my top floor room. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was simply stunning. The breakfast offered at the hotel was wonderful, with excellent coffee served by a barista. I also appreciated the 24-hour parking allowance for a minimum fee, which made it convenient for me as I had arrived by car. The hotel staff also surprised me with a thoughtful gift upon checking out. I had a fantastic experience at Residenza Accademia and would highly recommend it to others visiting Mantua.
Though not the hotel's fault, there was a literary festival happening during my stay, which resulted in some road closures. This meant I had to park my car at a bit of a distance from the hotel.
